line Enforcement

Do you take law enforcement seriously?

Many professing Christians do not. In fact, while many are quick to call upon the police when personally threatened, most manifest nothing but an attitude of rotten rebellion and resentment when they themselves are asked (or even forced) to comply with the laws of our land.

If more Christians took law enforcement seriously, they would recognize police officers as those appointed by God to protect and serve the public, model an attitude of humble submission to their children (especially when driving), and happily obey the directions and sanctions issued to them.

God calls you to take law enforcement seriously:

“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” (Romans 13:3-4)
