line Etiquette

Do you take etiquette seriously?

Many professing Christians do not. While there was a time when things like common courtesy, politeness, and good manners were expected in our culture, those days are long past; and rather than resisting the disintegration of common decency, many Christians have simply (and sadly) conformed.

If more Christians did take seriously their duty to respect and love others through simple acts of good etiquette, they would repent of their vulgar narcissism, become more conscious of how their behaviors effect and offend others, avoid corrupt company, and be circumspect in all their ways.

God calls you to take etiquette seriously:

For this is God’s command, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” and here is what it looks like “…in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Lev. 19:18 & Phil. 2:3-4)
