line Witnessing

Do you take witnessing seriously?

Many professing Christians do not. In fact, it seems that most Christians have chosen to follow the lead of those politically correct persons who regard it as “impolite” to discuss religion, rather than following the example of the apostles who turned the entire world upside down through their witness.

If more Christians did take seriously Christ’s command to be his witnesses in this world, they would be more circumspect about how they walk, they would be more quick to speak of Christ, and our culture might once again be transformed by the power of the gospel.

God calls you to take witnessing seriously:

“Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” (Colossians 4:5-6) and “and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear…” (1 Peter 3:15).
