line Missions

Do you take missions seriously?

Many professing Christians do not. While most Christians will indeed attend occasional missionary presentations in the local church and even offer financial support when encouraged to do so, it seems that most Christians have lost the missionary vision and zeal of the early church.

If more Christians did take missions seriously, they would regard the nations as Christ’s inheritance, remember missionaries daily in their prayers, and support missionaries through regular financial giving (ensuring that missionaries don’t have to spend six months of the year off the mission field fund-raising).

God calls you to take missions seriously:

For Jesus said, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” and “You shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
